"My husband, Rick, and I were very fortunate to meet Kim and Jaime shortly after we became certified. We had been diving with a couple of dive shops associated with hotels in Cozumel. These experiences were somewhat pleasant – hard to have a BAD dive in Cozumel – but neither of us felt particularly confident in our safety and the dives were short – 25 to 40 minutes. Plus, neither of us felt we were gaining in proficiency.
Then Kim introduced us to Jaime and we were most impressed with his high regard for safety, and his calm but very competent leadership of the dives. We began learning from him and Kim with every dive and our enjoyment and proficiency increased. Our bottom times quickly went from 25 minutes to 70 minutes per tank, and there was always something new to see. Once Jaime was confident in our abilities, he began to bring his video camera along and we were treated to wonderful color movies of our best experiences. We have had the opportunity to go to different locations, but we prefer to dive with Carey Deep exclusively."

Not only are Jaime & Kim great fun to spend time with, Jaime is also a natural born teacher. I learned more about effective air conservation, breath & bouyancy control in my first 2 dives with Jaime than I had in the previous 50 dives with others! My wife still usually consumes less air than I do, but it is certainly nice not to always be the first one in a group to hit 500 lbs., which was the case with me until Kim introduced me to Jaime. I enjoy variety, but as far as I'm concerned, in Jaime Mezo, I've already found my Cozumel dive master for life. And Kim's enthusiasm for the sport is so contagious, she keeps the passion for diving alive & well ... in Cozumel as well as back home in Denver.
Diving with these two ensures that every diving experience is an enjoyable, memorable & hassle free adventure! I have always felt that I got much more for my money with them than anyone else! They are true embodiments of the success philosophy of ... Doing what you love; Loving what you do; ... and always Delivering more than you promised!!

Bruce and I are very experienced divers. We have has some amazing dives around the world and I can honestly say that our experience with Jaime and Kim was nothing but the best! Our day of diving with them was truly exceptional. Not only did we have this outstanding dive master all to ourselves, but we experienced Cozumel diving at it's finest. We highly recommend Jaime's patience, outstanding skill and excellent knowledge of this diver's paradise. There is no question that we will dive with Carey Deep again in the near future!

I had a wonderful time diving with Jaime. His knowledge of the reefs and marine life was very vast. He also taught me some tricks to extend my air supply and conserve energy while diving. He is an excellent person to dive with and the crew of the boat we were on are wonderful. I would receommend Carey Deep to anyone ...
